about the members!
- yukiko is a 26 year old drummer who has been in the band since the start! she enjoys listening to plastic tree, malice mizer, and many other bands. she took up drumming in middle school, only seriously getting into it after she graduated from highschool. yukiko loves all things adorable, and will gush over anything she deems slightly cute.
- golgotha is a long-time pianist and keyboardist who started playing the piano in childhood and working with synthesizers in his early twenties. he has played for over 15 years in various groups.
Q&A!
- Q: "what genre do you guys play?"
- A - yuki: "we play music similar to that of malice mizer, kaneto juusei, and plastic tree! they are all quite different, but so are we!"
- Q: "what was your motive to create the band? any inspirations?"
- A - yuki: "when i was in highschool, i heard of malice mizer and i just couldnt get enough of them! (,,>﹏<,,) ever since that day, i wanted to start a band of my own and inspire others!
- A - golg: i have always enjoyed working with others. i find yukiko very enthusiastic. it is a nice respite from being around older musicians. ( ´ ▽ ` )ﾉ
- Q: golgotha, what are some of your favorite artists that have influenced you?
- A - golg: Selia, SiSen, and KALM's work in Seileen is a large influence of mine. (*´ω｀*)

About the band 𓂃 𓈒𓏸

Velvet Valentine was formed June 2011 by Yukiko Zaizen and Golgotha Nightengale. With their unique music style and fashion sense, they have gained a small batch of fans over the year as they do consistent shows at many venues. They very often sell out tickets at small venues in their town.

Golgotha and Yukiko met at Yukiko's place of work, becoming friends quite easily. Shortly after their meeting, they formed Velvet Valentine.
